Explore the History of the Telephone
March 10th is National Landline Telephone Day! It is celebrated to honor the same day in 1876 when Alexander Graham Bell transmitted his first phone call to Thomas Watson. My, how things have changed! This would be a fun time to do a unit study on Alexander Graham Bell or the telephone in general.

April 8th is Zoo Lover’s Day, so let’s learn about zoos and animals! Animals are always a hit with kids (Wild Kratts, anyone?!), so let’s take that enthusiasm and run with it!

March 22nd is World Water Day
Water is such an important part of life on Earth! There is so much to learn and do when it comes to water, so let’s celebrate World Water Day with some fun activities!

Homeschoollessons.net has a water study using the book, The Water Planet. It is pretty in-depth, but you could pick and choose the activities you do.
