Whether you are celebrating the Easter Bunny, Jesus, or both, Easter is a great time to add some special activities into your homeschool. I’ve gathered up lots of fun activities that you can try this year for an Easter homeschool activity! Easter Art Activities
This Easter egg painting activity is perfect for little ones. We did this when the girls were little and they loved it. I think I’ll have to do it again with my youngest this year.
Resist painting is always a hit with my kiddos, so when I saw this watercolor resist “egg hunt”, I knew they would love it! Just grab a white crayon, draw some easter eggs with fun designs and let your kids “hunt” for the eggs with watercolor paint!
These sweet hand sews felt eggs would be a great craft for a beginning sewer!

Easter Activities for Math
When you can get your kids up and moving for school I think it always goes better than sitting at a table all day. Fun Learning for Kids had this fun idea to practice addition with an “egg toss” (plastic eggs, don’t worry!) You could also use ping pong balls to do with activity throughout the year. And, you could do multiplication for older kids!
Grab those stuffies and a measuring tape and have some fun! This measuring activity from Ellen at What Can We Do with Paper and Glue would be great for upper elementary. If you have sheep or bunny stuffies then even better, but really any stuffies will do. Your children can practice measuring them, creating a table, making a graph, and even sorting them into ranges. So many skills to practice here! Little ones can sort their stuffies from biggest to smallest if they can’t measure yet.
Language Arts Activities for Easter
You can create an Easter themed word search, crossword puzzle, or Easter word scramble!

Science Activities for Easter
You can encourage creativity and STEM skills by creating a Easter STEM Kit Basket with these ideas from Little Bins for Little Hands. And she got most of her stuff from the dollar store…yay! If you (or your kids) are into STEM, they’ve got some great ideas on that site, like this paper bag STEM challenge!

Try this egg drop lesson plan from Northeastern University! It would be fun to get a group of kids together to do this one! I Game Mom also has some ideas for egg drop experiments.
Learn how to turn an ordinary egg into a silver egg! You can also learn about density and saltwater with this easy experiment.
Learn about osmosis with an egg and a little red food coloring. You can also make spider eggs with blueberries!

Bible Activities for Easter
I try to generally do activities that don’t require special ingredients because, well, who has time for that, right?! But, this activity from I Can Teach My Child looks so cool and what a great visual presentation of our sins being covered. You will need a few special ingredients (you can get them here), but I think it would be totally worth it! Here is a video tutorial that might be helpful.
You can do a countdown to Easter using Resurrection Eggs. You can find ideas and printable pictures to put inside the eggs here.
Creative Bible Study also offers some great ideas for Easter lessons on their site including using plastic eggs to talk about Jesus. I haven’t watched the videos, so you might want to preview them if you plan to show them to your kiddos.
You could bake some Empty Tomb Rolls for Easter morning. They look delicious and bring great news!
