St. Patrick’s Day is such a fun holiday for homeschooling. And it doesn’t involve candy!! Hooray! My girls love to color, so I decided to whip up a shamrock coloring page for them.
I like to create coloring pages that make them think a little bit. So, I made this shamrock coloring page with my four year old in mind. She is practicing her number recognition, so a color by number was perfect for St. Patrick’s day!
Of course, my first grader, who is NOT working on number recognition still wanted to do it and I didn’t have time to create two versions, so she got an easy version today, too. I hope to create a sight word version or a phonics version for next year!
For this shamrock coloring page, I made the color words print in their color because that make it so much easier for my Preschooler who can’t read yet. It’s such a boost of independence and confidence when she can do a page without having to ask me to read the directions. I just love seeing that look on her face!

The St. Patrick’s Day coloring page is a huge shamrock in the middle with four smaller shamrocks in the corners. I split up the sections and added some pizzazz to the petals to really make this shamrock coloring page POP! I hope your kiddos (or you!) enjoy it as much as we did!
