Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool

One of Cathy Duffy’s top 103 Picks, Easy Peasy exists to help families homeschool who thought they couldn’t due to lack of time, knowledge, or finances.  

At Home Middle School

At Home Middle School pulls together the best free online curriculum, from sites like TedEd, CK-12 and Crash Course, and organizes it into daily lessons for middle school students.  Students are meant to do each subject everyday.  All lessons are secular.  Topics covered include math, language arts, art, science, social studies, spanish, and more.

Plain and Not So Plain

Amy, a homeschooling mom of 10, shares what she used for her children.  Resources are organized by grade (starting in 2nd grade) and continues up to 9th grade.

Kahn Academy

Khan Academy is a non-profit that aims to provide world-class education for anyone, anywhere.  We’ve used several of their math lessons and I’ve always been impressed.  Khan Academy offers Pre-K thru College level courses on math, science, language arts, history, life skills, and more.

Ambleside Online

Ambleside Online is a free Charlotte Mason homeschool curriculum for Pre-K thru grade 12.  They provide resource suggestions and a sample schedule.  While their schedules are free, some of their suggested resources do require purchases (books, etc.).

The Good and the Beautiful

I can’t say enough good things about The Good and the Beautiful!  We have used their language arts, math, and science units and have been pleased every time!  They offer their full language arts(k-8) and math(k-6) curriculums as free downloads.  They also offer a free Marine Biology science unit download.

Discovery K12

Discovery K12 is a free online homeschool platform.  They provide lessons for pre-k to twelfth grade including language arts, reading/literature, math, science, history/social studies, visual/performing arts, and physical education. Student accounts are free, but parent/teacher accounts require a paid upgrade.

Old Fashioned Education

Written by a homeschool mom, this site includes some resource suggestions, but it does have an extensive list of public domain books that are free to view and/or download.

Classical Curriculum

The site describes their curriculum as high-brow, high-IQ, academically conservative, classical curriculum.    

Mater Amabilis

Mater Amabilis is a catholic Charlotte Mason homeschool curriculum.  They offer syllabi for pre-k thru grade 12.  The site has a syllabus and sample schedule for each level.

Little House Kindergarten

Little House Kindergarten offers a full kindergarten curriculum broken into 6 sections, 30 days each.  This is technically a “retired” curriculum, so some of the links may be outdated or broken, but a lot of them still work.

Lamp and Light Living

That it May Go Well is a homeschool mom authored, family style curriculum for k-5th grade.  The workbooks use bible verses or bible topics for a variety of tasks such as copywork, grammar, writing, science, etc.
